Au départ, il y a une tisane, préparée par un maitre de thé expérimenté. De jeunes artistes en distribuent une tasse à tout qui vient.

Issus de différents horizons, ces artistes créent des évènements artistiques où s’entremêlent performance, musique, arts visuels et musique. Aujourd’hui, autour de cette tasse de thé, ils et elles vont laisser les questions sensibles et les tabous émerger, tout ce qu’on a sur le cœur.

Un moment simple où tout est interaction, entre le public, l’artiste et l’œuvre, avec une afterparty en clôture.

De et avec Olivier Pauwels, Livia Slegers, Junior Nicolau Vita, Loesie Vanhemelrijck, Mona Abdul Hameed, Elita Kelambi Arachchige, Elisa Subba, Adèle Kaïdi, Noni Samou Matsedoum, Yousra El Hilali et Sara De Ridder. Collectif complété et rejoint par d’autres artistes.

Op zoek naar de schoonheid van de dood die nieuw leven met zich meebrengt, op zoek naar een eeuwigheid van verlossing in het aardse en het ongrijpbare.

In het westen is de angst van de dood zo diep doorgedrongen dat we vergeten te leven. Door de dood te ontmoeten en een waardige plek te geven in ons hart, vieren we het bestaan.

We nodigen jullie uit deel te nemen aan deze zachte ontbinding van kunst, mens, natuur en vergankelijkheid.

Spill The Tea is een open kunstencollectief dat opereert vanuit BRONKS en bestaat uit jonge mensen waaronder opkomende kunstenaars met diverse achtergronden en uit verschillende disciplines. Spill the tea betekent zoveel als zeggen wat er op je lever ligt. Gevoelige thema’s en taboes worden tijdens artistieke evenementen bespreekbaar gemaakt via performance, muziek, installaties en beeldende kunst. De nadruk ligt op interactie tussen het publiek, de kunstenaar en diens werk. Met een afterparty als sluitstuk. De verbindende factor is een kop kruidenthee gebrouwen door een gespecialiseerde theemeester.

Spill The Tea is an open art collective operating from BRONKS and consists of young people including emerging artists from diverse backgrounds and different disciplines. ‘Spill the tea’ essentially means saying what’s on your mind. Sensitive topics and taboos are discussed during artistic events through performance, music, installations and visual art. The emphasis is on the interaction between the audience, the artist and their work. With an afterparty to round things off. The unifying factor is a cup of herbal tea brewed by a specialised tea master.
