Pas tout à fait rondes, très inégales, imparfaites et… beaucoup trop nombreuses !

Des boules de céramique blanche s’effondrent et submergent deux acrobates. Elles roulent en tambourinant, sautent dans tous les sens, font des bulles dans la bouche et se collent irrémédiablement au plafond.

iRRooTTaa invite à la chute. Ici, l’échec est permis, changer les règles aussi. Il n’y a rien de plus amusant que de laisser la vie filer entre ses doigts. Alors, qu’elle vrille et glisse dans tous les sens, jusque sous nos jambes ! Un spectacle de cirque sonore et visuel tonique.

Een massa witte keramische balletjes overweldigen twee acrobatische spelers. 

Ze zijn verre van perfect: net niet helemaal rond, net allemaal ongelijk en ook met veel te veel. Ze rollen drummend in het rond, springen alle kanten uit, bruisen plots op in een mond of plakken onherroepelijk vast aan het plafond. 

iRRooTTaa is een uitnodiging om niet alle ballen in de lucht te houden. Een ode aan de ‘drop’. Want soms zit net vallen vol nieuwe mogelijkheden. Falen is toegestaan. De regels veranderen ook. Want wie weet wordt het spelen van het leven gewoon veel leuker als we het af en toe tussen onze vingers kunnen laten glippen. Met het publiek rondom rond arrangeren twee spelers een muzikale circuscompositie waarbij de ballen je rond de schenen vliegen. iRRooTTaa is een prikkelende auditieve en beeldende circusvoorstelling voor iedereen vanaf vier jaar en hun overprikkelde ouders.

In iRRooTTaa Willem and Sophie are being overwhelmed by a mass of little, white, ceramic balls.

They are far from perfect: not totally round, all slightly different, and also with far too many. Sophie and Willem can never grasp them all, nor can they fully grasp them. Rattling they roll in all directions, jump round and about, suddenly start to fizz in a mouth or are irrevocably stuck to the ceiling.​ 

iRRooTTaa is an invitation to stop trying to keep all the balls in the air. It is an ode to the ‘drop’. Because sometimes dropping is full of new possibilities. Failure is allowed. Changing the rules, too. Who knows, perhaps playing life becomes much more fun if we can let it slip between our fingers every now and then. Surrounded by the audience Willem and Sophie create a musical circus composition full of balls. iRRooTTaa is a stimulating aural and visual circus performance for everyone aged four and up, childrens’ over-stimulated parents included.
